The College of William & Mary’s Global Film Festival is looking for volunteers to assist in festival production! This year’s festival, “Film and the City,” will be held at DoG Street’s historic Kimball Theatre on February 16-19, 2012.
Volunteers are an integral part to the Global Film Festival’s success. Volunteers will assist with ticketing, theatre seating, setup and cleanup for festival parties, and other tasks as necessary. There will be at least one brief training session before the festival. The preferred time commitment for the festival weekend is 10 hours total. Although volunteers are not guaranteed entry to any festival event, there are many perks to volunteering, such as meeting special guests, having access to free food after receptions, and receiving discounted festival merchandise.
All William & Mary students are eligible to volunteer. No film classes or experience is required! Interested students may email firstname.lastname@example.org.
